2. Revamped Settings: the settings UI on Android O gets a redesign, the new settings UI is a lot more cooler and easy to understand and is free of the clutter of the sideway menu of the settings that was present in Android Nougat. It is probably the best feature in the update when it comes to looks and aesthetics.

Better Notifications: the way you handle the notifications get a lot better in Android O, there are several features that as a whole add up to improve the way Notifications are taken care of which altogether help the users manage their notifications flawlessly. The two major improvements in notification management are, the notification dots, which basically are small dots on top of apps that notify you that there are unread notifications of the app.

And the Notification Snooze, with the notification snooze, you can snooze the notifcations of any app by just sliding the notifications halfway to the right and selecting the snooze button and choosing you desired time for the app to be snoozed.

4. Smart Text Selection: remember the hassles of copying the addresses and then searching for them later in the maps app to find the directions, or copying a number and then dialling it after pasting it in the dialler in the smartphone you use, with Android O’s smart text selections all you have to do is select any address and the OS will give you the option to directly jump into the Maps app and locate it, or copy a number and directly dial it and call.

5. System UI tuner: this was a feature actually introduced with Android Marshmallow, the System UI tuner allows you to customize 4 Major categories of settings which can be customized by you, they are Status Bar, Navigation Bar, Lock Screen and Do Not Disturb. The System UI tuner allows you to play around with your device and tune it according to your customization by adding or removing toggles from the status bar, adding permanent buttons to the navigation bar, choosing the lockscreen shortcuts of your choice and setting up your preferred Do Not Disturb mode.

With the developer previews of Android O already out for testing, only with day to day usage shall we know how efficient and user-friendly Android O is, We just hope that the most awaited Android O holds up to the hype that it has gained after its announcement.
